This works as such a fantastic response to the Republican talking points about how oh, we don’t need regulation! We don’t need civil rights legislation! We don’t need rights for workers. We don’t need a minimum wage. Or EPA standards. Or any government aid for needy people. Charities & the free market should do it all!
Charity is not a viable alternative to efforts on behalf of justice.
